Make it your official New Year’s resolution to improve your social media and web presence: try to post to your practice’s Facebook Fan Page at least twice a week in 2011. Doing so can help increase your organic search rate (Google includes sites such as Facebook and Twitter in their rankings calculations*) and help you build a loyal fan base. Dedicate at least one staff member in your office as an administrator to the fan page and official status-updater. Make sure you’re posting relevant and useful content – relevance is important to both Google and your fans (you don’t want to spam your fans with unwanted information).
