Mark Andre, F.A.A.O.:
Mark is a consultant to CooperVision and an Associate Professor of Optometry at the Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. Mark’s areas of expertise include fitting specialty contact lenses and contact lens design. Mark lectures internationally and is a recipient of the Contact Lens Society of America's prestigious Joseph W. Soper award for Excellence in Education. He is also a contributing editor of the monthly publication Contact Lens Spectrum.
Garth Bradley, Trade Marketing Manager:
Garth has been involved in both sales and marketing in the vision care industry for the past 13 years. He is currently the Trade Marketing Manager for CooperVision. In this role, Garth manages customer communications and special projects, while focusing on corporate clients. Garth’s other areas of expertise include social media and sales. Career highlights consist of successfully launching and managing Biomedics Toric as Product Manager (2001-2004) and while in sales, being awarded “Rookie of the Year”, “Account Manager of the Year” and “Highest Revenue over Budget”.
Doug Brayer, Director of Marketing:
Doug Brayer is the Director of Marketing at CooperVision. He has been with CooperVision since 2002, and he currently oversees marketing for all Multifocal and Toric lenses in the US. Over the course of his career, Doug has launched many key products that play an important role in CooperVision’s product portfolio – namely, Proclear Multifocal, Proclear Toric, Proclear EP, and most recently, Biofinity Toric.
Leslie Donahue, Director of Specialty Products Operations:
Leslie Donahue is the Director of Specialty Products Operations, CVSPO at CooperVision. His primary objective with CooperVision is to grow the multifocal brands in Canada and the US. He is the former president and founder of Opti-Care Laboratories, and he created the Balanced Progressive Technology design utilized in Proclear® and Frequency® Multifocal, as well as Proclear Multifocal Toric.
Jeff Machemer, MS (ODA), FCLSA (H):
Jeff provides technical, training, and development support for CooperVision in the specialty contact lens segments. He has been involved in the ophthalmic industry for over 30 years and specializes in the education, development, and marketing of specialty contact lens products. He has provided continuing educating internationally and been on the faculty at both Tulane Medical School and Baylor College of Medicine.
Dennis Murphy, President of the Americas:
Dennis is the President of the Americas for CooperVision, Inc. His career to date includes leadership roles in the healthcare, medical products, and consumer products industries, as well as start-up companies. Dennis’ expertise lies in customer relationships, strategic leadership, and building and developing sales and marketing organizations.
Bill Shelly, Senior Director of Consultation and Training:
Bill is the Senior Director of Consultation and Training at CooperVision. He has been involved in the contact lens industry for thirty years and has expertise in the areas of marketing, sales management and training, and product development. Bill attained NCLE status in 1994 and achieved Business Manager of the Year in 1993 and 2007.
Harvard Sylvan, O.D.:
Dr. Sylvan is the Director of Professional Relations at CooperVision, Inc. Prior to CooperVision, he was on staff as a contact lens specialist at a private practice in Connecticut. He has also owned and managed multiple offices in a professional retail environment, as well as consulted for several contact lens companies.
